Linn needs no introduction for its turntables that can last a lifetime. The LP12 is considered by many a benchmark and holds the accolade as one of the world's most famous turntables.

Linn’s ubiquitous LP12 has achieved several milestones: it continues to be highly sought after, and it continues to accrue international accolades for its timeless design and its unquestionably, excellent sound quality.

The original LP12 stands out from current models by only two small physical features: a square on/off power button and a Perspex lid that required a swivelling arm to mount a small cut-out on the turntable’s plinth to remain open.

Beyond that, physically and mechanically the original LP12 and current models look almost the same.

But over the decades Linn has laboured to enhance each generation of its famous turntable. The power supply, sub-chassis, and the bearing have undergone many evolutions and just about every other part of the original up to and including its three sub-chassis' tuning springs and rubber grommets.

But 2019 will deliver something new - something sought-after, desired, and more importantly for the Linn fan, something exclusive.

Linn will manufacturer only 50 of its latest LP12 Majik turntables in a special Piano black finish - a Limited Edition. It will be a collector's item without doubt, particularly when there will only be just one available in Australia.

Inspired by Willy Wonka and his Golden Ticket competition, Len Wallis Audio and StereoNET are giving readers the chance to own this limited edition LP12. You'll likely be the envy of all other Linn LP12 owners, and possess a turntable that will be remembered for being exclusive.

The best part is that there's no premium price to pay for this opportunity. No, it will sell for $5,695, which is the usual recommended retail price for a standard Linn LP12 Majik at any Australian retailer today.

The process is simple. You register your interest to purchase below, and one lucky winner will be selected at random. The last day of registration is 31st March 2019, 5:00 PM EST. The winner will be announced on the Len Wallis Audio Facebook page, and here on StereoNET

If the winner is not in a position to follow through with the purchase, Len Wallis Audio will randomly select another lucky winner until the LP12 Piano Black Limited Edition is spoken for.

Terms and conditions. Open to Australian residents only. Registrations close at 5:00pm (EST) 31 March 2019. One entry per person. Winner to be announced via Len Wallis and Stereonet 1 April 2019. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not buy the LP12 within 14 days from the announcement date, we reserve the right to pick a replacement winner. Any personal data collected as part of this registration will be used solely in accordance with the current Australian data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party. Sound Media Group, Len Wallis Audio and Advance Audio Australia may use your personal data to contact you with marketing information. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions. Advance Audio Australia and Len Wallis Audio reserve the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
