I think Panasonic had a bash at some glass last year. Of no real consequence. Tubes do make a difference to digital sounds, putting a layer of syrup over the jagged edges of low res files.
That they want to elbow into the Bose space seems to indicate the height of their audiophile ambitions.
My mum always said if you can't say something nice, don't say it at all.
So I shall remain close-mouthed
Well, my mum told me to say what I think so:
What a pile of lamearse-jump-on-the-bandwagon-wannabe poo.
The tube apparently gives "awesome audio, and filters out noise and distortion to achieve spectacular clarity", right....
Then again, I haven't heard it, so it could be the most amazing thing since wheat was harvested and ground into flour then cooked and then sliced! Who knows...?
But I doubt it.

This message represents the official view of the voices in my head.
Saw one at JB HiFi last week. Certainly 'looked' the part.... But they should have used a valve that has a more exposed heater to announce Electrons being boiled here as did the old Luxman.
The small amount of research I have made says the two double triodes are preamps for a main D class, so nothing fancy going on. Weird seeing valves in a BluRay player though. I wonder what long periods of left-on because i forgot will do to the plastics inside from that heating... Turn them brittle no doubt.
I would like to have had a listen but with those "speakers" and a noisy shop, an pointless exercise...
