    The Black Prince - Garrard 401 in dual layer Slate plinth

    and Jet - Custom Lenco PTP3 top plate in multi-layer Slate Plinth.
    Please give me a system that is a bit forgiving on what I find in thrift shops for a handful of pennies and still is able to deliver the goods on good pressings.

    The Black Prince certainly is and it is also here in the DIY section.

    Jet is too recent a build and I have not talked about her much.
    Please give me a system that is a bit forgiving on what I find in thrift shops for a handful of pennies and still is able to deliver the goods on good pressings.
