Where is My Mind
The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side. Hunter S. Thompson
I still have Surfer Rosa which I bought on release as a US import ( hadn't yet been released in NZ ). Sounded great then, sounds great now. Always thought it had a very immediate and live sound. Haven't heard any of the re-releases to compare.
Dining/kitchen; Denon DP-3700/ DL-103 , Denon DCD-2000AE, Perreaux EP/E2, Duevel Planets.

Soul to Sole racks, and mostly DNM cables.
Ahhhh... sweet surfer rosa. I used to stare at that cover for hours...
I'm afraid I do not have a favoured track I hold dearer than any other. I love every track off every album. Like my whisky collection, I love the one I'm drinking just a little more than the others but only for that moment in time.

I khave to concur with Luckiestmanalive - just love them all.
It is good to see I am amongst good company with such fine tastes in music
The live DVD with the doco on it is good also, the one that interviews Bowie etc.
Extreme terror using Altec speaker systems!
The Pixies chart my course in formats - Come on Pilgrim and Surfer Rosa in vinyl, Doolittle, Bossanova and Trompe le Monde on cassette. Then I went back and bought Bossanova, Doolittle, and Surfer Rosa on CD. The Surfer Rosa CD is an imported, special remastered copy.
