Am upgrading amps, so was looking for offers on this amp. RRP $999

Its only 11 months old from Strawberry Sound (have receipt), and comes with remote, manual and original box/padding. So can post this safely nationwide (mind you it is 10.35kg). Amp is in perfect condition.

Can run 2 lot of speakers from this amp also (if 8ohms), as it has speakers A/B. Great sounding amp, I brought this amp over the NAD and AudioLab amps in the under $1200 proce bracket.

8ohms ...80w nominal @ <0.09% THD
4ohms ...120w nominal @ <0.3% THD

High instantaneous current capability... +/- 80amps

Dynamic Power (1HF, 1kHz tone burst)...
8ohms - 115w
4ohms - 200w
2ohms - 295w
1 ohm - 380w

Hi - the only reason I'm selling the Harman Kardon 970 amp is that I'm trying to go towards an All-Naim system. I have a Naim CD5x/Flatcap2x and am probably buying a Naim Nait5i amp.

The Harman Kardon is a very good amp for its price however. I really enjoyed it the 11 months it was in use.

As you are aware:- I have just bought this amplifier to assist a community group.

I am wondering if you received my email on Wednesday letting you know that it arrived with only one channel working and asking what we should do about that?

I wondered if my email had been 'junked' by your filter and hence this approach? Cheers jg

Thanks Jonno this is indeed a great amp for those of us who listen for the passion in music and the community group is delighted.

I think this is simply a cautionary tale for those of us who use couriers to transport electronic gear that even when well packed:- a connection can work loose.
