Active Diamonds - Bass Driver

Hi all, long time no post.

My pals wee Wharfedale active diamonds (20 year old or so!) require a new bass driver. Is it possible to source this driver in NZ or will I need to go overseas?

The importers, Monaco, are suggesting I send my speaker in so that they can find a match, as they are not familiar with the model.

I will look overseas, thanks for help anyway.

I think South Pacific music http://www.southpacmusic.co.nz/ are the importers for the professional line of wharfedales - Monaco don't seem to know of the existence of the pro line of products (eg the diamond 8.2a's). You might have more luck with South Pacific.

You may have ALOT less trouble finding a local driver from www.advanceae.com if you know the t/s specifications and replace driver with one that has similar specs,the sound will be largely the same as the original driver.
