I have recently bought an ipod 32gb touch and would like to connect to my Naim 200/202. I did buy a 2nd hand Logitech Pure-Fi Express Plus trademe which has a faulty connection so you have to wiggle to contact! But its handy to charge.
So I'm open to some suggestions please. Listen mostly to internet radio and my own library.

Depends on your budget really, AudioEngine A5s, Kanto Ipair, B&W Zeppelin are probably better sounding ones IMO.

That's a dock as distinct from dock + speakers?

Do peachtree do a dedicated dock? Their all in ones work very well from what little I have heard of them actually in action. Also of course there is the Wadia dock.

But you might as well get a DAC while you're at it, if you get a Wadia.

Why a dock for the pod? and not a cable.I spoke to Shore Hifi and Chord do a cable(Santa gave me a 32gb one also for chrissy).According to Matt its quite good.

I'd start with squeezing the best performance out of the iPod to start with, and to do that, you'd want to bypass the internal DAC.
Not only will some docks provide a digital path via the dock connector (allowing you to utilise a stand-alone DAC), they will also charge it during use (if need be, I see the Arcam can allow you to turn charging off), plus it sits the iPod nice and upright.

I'm listening to the id100 right now....it sounds like goodness. Excellent remote that just happens to control my plinius' volume as well.
