I now have my stupidly enourmous budget of $1400 (up from $400) :eek: for a new 2 channel system. I'm currently running around like a kid in a candy shop with a thousand ideas and not knowing what to go with. Hong Kong and UK avenues have fallen through. I kind of want something unique which definitely doesn't help much :o.
I saw there was a virtue One.2 on trademe. They seem to be pretty good but I'm just not sure what DAC to pair it with? Maybe a DACit or something similar? Another option I was looking at was buying a refurb Decco from overseas as it would give me a nice simple all-in-one box for cheap. The only thing I have found that was a true budget piece was the kingrex T20u but I haven't managed to figure out what it can actually drive as it's only rated at a lowly 12w/per channel?
