Easiest home-made aerial.

I am taking the National to a mates batch for new years. We have good radio coverage there.

What would be the easiest way to make a home antenna for the below connection?.....Would it be buy some ribbon tape a certain length?

I have attached the below type aerial, did not sound the best and touchy to keep on station, walking away and around it interfered in the reception. Only interested in the FM connection side.

That is an AM aerial.

Just get some thin speaker wire, about 3m long and split the end half a meter - You then have a 'T' shaped FM aerial.

Generally you can just pin or tack it to the wall, may require some different positions if signal is weak for a particular station.
