Great effort and a labour of love to be still going after all this time. As I can imagine your not in it for the money, and that's what makes it even more an achievement. Congratulations.

G'Day Mike
I remember your paper magazines with fondness. Always a great read & they were available for free at Hi-Fi shops in Wellington, namely Sound Expression, when it was owned by Rick Renner.
Also remember picking up the odd issue when I attended the Wellington Music Club or some such name (can't remember the actual name) that was held in the Victoria University buildings.
The last time I saw you Mike, was in the 80's, bumping into you as you came out of Colin Morris music shop in Willis St, Wellington with the LP of John Hiatt's "Bring The Family". When I commented that as you already had the CD, why would you buy the LP, you said that you liked the cover, which I believe is this: http://991.com/newGallery/John-Hiatt-Bring-The-Family-450727.jpg.
Merry Christmas.

Did Fearless Publisher really get that version ?
That's a rare Demon Records release of BTF.
Happy Birthday AE !

Trevor, you have a great memory! That's the LP I had. It was a terrible pressing - you could hear the vinyl shredding each time it was played, so I stuck with the CD.

I remember the early articles on the domestic products - Craft, Plinius, McLaren, HFA, Lambert ... Great stuff. Thanks very much, Michael.

Congrats, 25 years.....hmmmm, that's your silver anniversary. Maybe a gift of some Kondo cables in said metal would be in order?

Congrats, on carrying on with this in one form or another over the past 25 years.
Still have the mag with the Mclaren reviews which led to my 603/703 purchase. Come to thing of it I still have the Mclarens. :)

Congrats Michael and well done, time flies when your having fun, these 25 years sure have.
I still have copies of the paper issues from way back and look through on occassions for some nostalgia.
Cheers.

It was the original Audio Video magazine that convinced me to buy a pair of enormous JBL LX-66 speakers from some shop in Newmarket in about 1988.
Christ those things were good at parties!
I remember one profoundly deaf fellow wrapping his arm around them at one party so he could feel the bass vibes that we were all dancing to. Friends have them now and they are still going strong. Cheers Mike!!
