So any who - I was ferreting around in the weekend and decided to change the speaker connections on the national.
Opened her up to find both 3amp fuses had that foil from cigarettes packets wrapped around them.....? I wonder what could have blown them back in the hay-day?
So anyway replaced them and the speaker connections and thought I would show some internal photos of a poor student amp for laughs.:D

Look at the pulley system for the radio tuner dial.
