Did Jacko147 get a bargain or a lemon?

I know this chap and the lack of bids made me wonder if it was the latter. Does anyone have an opinion?

Bargain I reckon! Nice drivers, Average TT that could be enhanced and that valve receiver is just cool! All for $300, sweet. I would value it at around the $500-600 mark all up.

$300 seems about right but using it with Yammie NS-2000, 1000X and Quads ?

Hard to say with this early stereo stuff, you need to be sure that it has built-in MPX for FM stereo reception. Some unique vintage value.
I have an earlier Pioneer SMB-200A 'AM-stereo' receiver which is a radio curiosity but the 6BM8 tube stereo amp is a nice performer.
The rest of the console would, unfortunately, be of minimal value, I'd say.

I wouldn't right off that tt either - looks like a pl-25. An idler drive which could perform very well with a bit of tweaking. 1kg platter.Potential?
All in all I'd say a good price.
