Hi
I've just brought a secondhand pair of Coda 7's.
Unfortunately, one speaker has a rattle when it hits low bass notes.
It seems the plastic front is vibrating against the wooden frame.
In DIY sprit I'm going to repair this myself.
I've already dismantled the speaker and am looking to glue the front plastic cover back on.
My problem is, I'm not sure what product is best to stick the plastic front to the wood. I need something that’s flexible, will fill gaps around the speaker frount and strong enough to hold it in place but not a super glue hold incase I need to remove it later on.
If anyone has done similar repairs, I'd been keen to hear what sealants you used.
Here’s a link to info about the plastic fantastic Coda 7; http://202.186.86.35/audio/story.asp?file=/1996/2/02kef
